Austin JacksonAustin Jackson, CCRC – Clinical Trials Manager

Austin Jackson has a B.S. in Kinesiology from SUNY Brockport. She is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) through ACRP, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. She has worked in healthcare for more than eight years, with more than Five of those years dedicated to Urology. She is BLS certified and is currently finishing up a two year term on the Genesee Staff Council at the University of Rochester. Her primary research interests are urological diseases and disorders and men's health.

Grace BennettGrace Bennett, CRC

Grace Bennett earned a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from Clemson University in 2022, where she developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and data management. Grace is passionate about accessibility, having participated in projects at Clemson addressing inclusion in academics and disparities in healthcare, and aims to bring this perspective to our work. She is excited to begin her career back in her hometown of Rochester.

Natalie CarrollNatalie Carroll, CRC

Natalie Carroll grew up in Buffalo, NY, where she first developed her interest in urology working as a medical assistant at local clinic. She became a part of the urology team as a procedural technician in 2021 and was promoted to a clinical research coordinator after achieving her Bachelor of Science from the University at Buffalo. Her work in building trust with patients, addressing their concerns, and providing a supportive environment in clinical research has helped inform her future goal of earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Beyond her professional pursuits, Natalie enjoys spending time with family (including those with paws) and tending to her plant collection.

MaMarcus D’Alfonsorcus D’Alfonso, CRC

Marcus D’Alfonso graduated college in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Health from SUNY Brockport. After embarking on his professional journey as a research coordinator specializing in Pulmonary medicine, he made the switch to Urology in May 2024. His passion for research is fueled by the thrill of new discoveries and the impact of advancements in the field. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking through nature, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills to victory.


Janice Schrack, CCRC

Janice (Jan) Schrack is our newest urological research team member.  She is a University of Rochester graduate with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).  Jan also obtained her Certified Clinical Research Coordinator certification (CCRC) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).  Most of Jan’s career has been at the University of Rochester in a variety roles and experiences, such as: surgical oncology, research, cardiology, care management, and quality improvement.  She is interested in efficient, cost-effective, pt-centered care.  When Jan is not assisting the research team, she enjoys pickleball, sports, and spending time with her husband, 2 active teenage sons, and 4 rescue dogs.
