Lata U. Sabnis, MD, Anesthesiology Residents Educational Endowment
The Lata U. Sabnis, MD, Anesthesiology Residents Educational Endowment will provide endowed support for the education of anesthesiology residents and fellows including travel to educational meetings and international electives, and to support additional educational initiatives for our trainees that could not be funded otherwise. The chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine will be responsible for disbursements from this fund. In the event gifts and commitments to the Fund reach or exceed the minimum level to endow a professorship, the Fund may be revised into the Lata U. Sabnis Professorship in Anesthesiology at the discretion of the chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine in consultation with the dean of the School of Medicine and Dentistry.

The People and Partnerships Moving Microplastics Research Forward
While new research on levels of microplastics found in the human body has recently raised flags for many, scientists at the University of Rochester have been asking questions, building teams, and uncovering how environmental exposures impact human health for decades. With the knowledge, partnerships, and systems they’ve put in place through the University’s Environmental Health Sciences Center (EHSC), they’re poised to provide answers.
