Our division prides itself on providing our residents and fellows state-of-the-art education in Critical Care Medicine and anesthetic management for complex cases. Aside from being responsible for the education of our trainees in the ICU and operating rooms, we organize dedicated journal clubs, workshops in critical care and POCUS, as well as a robust didactic curriculum in critical care, transplant medicine, and subspecialty anesthetic management.
The University of Rochester has had a residency training program in anesthesiology since 1958. Our Critical Care fellowship has been continually accredited since 1989. More information about our fellowship can be found at our Critical Care Fellowship Program Website.
