Postdoctoral Research Position (Martinod Lab)
A postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Kimberly Martinod in the Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute is open for a researcher with experience working with laboratory models of cardiovascular disease and an interest in performing research related to the contribution of neutrophil extracellular traps to immunothrombosis and to fibrotic remodeling in the heart after injury and during aging. It is expected that the researcher will work together with PhD students and undergraduate trainees whose research intersects with these projects in a collaborative capacity. Candidates should have recently earned a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D degree(s). Expertise in cell biology, animal models, and microscopy is required. Experience with neutrophils, flow cytometry, transcriptomics, or echocardiography will be a plus.

Postdoctoral Associate (Small Lab)
NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Eric M. Small in the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) at the University of Rochester to study the molecular mechanisms leading to cardiac fibrosis in ischemic heart disease and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy in the Small Lab. Candidates should have recently earned a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. degree(s). Expertise in cell/molecular biology is required. Experience with mouse handling and/or computational biology will be a plus.

Postdoctoral Position in Cardiovascular Biology and Disease
Two NIH-funded postdoctoral associate positions are immediately available in the laboratory of Prof. Zheng-Gen Jin at Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute/Department of Medicine, the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY, USA. We are looking for candidates with experiences or interest in following areas: vascular endothelial biology, cell metabolism, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, and genetic animal models. Priority will be given to motivated candidates with a strong background and prior experience in molecular and cell biology, cell metabolism, immunology, and animal studies. We will provide competitive salary/benefits for individuals who are motivated, creative, capable of conducting research independently, and have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
