Success Stories

Our CFAR has helped our faculty, and especially our young faculty, to compete successfully for new funding and for CFAR supplements at the national level. In 2011 our faculty received 4 supplements – including 1 of only 2 nanotechnology supplements awarded nationally. In addition, CFAR funding and mentoring support has resulted in a 10:1 return on investment in terms of new grants as well as academic promotions for 6 of the 7 young faculty members who received such support.
