Holistic & Customized Care
Team-Based Support
Our certified athletic trainers work collaboratively with sports medicine physicians, nutrition experts, and clinical psychologists, to improve overall physical performance.
Team & School Combines
Through our CHAMPP (Center for Human Athleticism and Musculoskeletal Performance and Prevention) program, we offer training for local high school athletes. We also bring performance evaluations to schools—running force-plate tests, jump assessments, change-of-direction drills and balance exams. These help identify both trackable performance gains and injury risk. We can then make recommendations on how to reduce those risks while enhancing athleticism.
Individual & Group Options
We offer multiple training opportunities for teams and individuals, including:
Youth athletes (ages 8+)
Middle and high school athletes
Collegiate and professional athletes
Teams can use CHAMPP to help build their culture—training as a group in preparation for practices and games is an enriching experience that delivers results.
Individual athletes come to us for injury recovery and prevention as well as strength and movement training. We can also offer in-season or off-season training programs tailored to your schedule.
Our services include:
One-on-one sessions
Semi-private workouts
Team or group classes
Our training system is dynamic and flexible to adapt to each individual or team’s age range, sport, and goals.
Data-Driven Training & Results
Our training programs are grounded in evidence-based methods and shaped by medical expertise, setting us apart from traditional fitness coaching.
We begin by collecting detailed baseline performance data for each athlete, then track their progress over time—measuring improvements across key metrics like acceleration, agility, top speed, and power.
Using sport-specific benchmarks, we build performance databases for a wide range of athletes—from junior and senior high school teams to Division I and III college programs. This approach allows us to deliver personalized feedback that’s meaningful for both athletes and coaches.
The impact is clear: many athletes in our programs see up to 60% gains in performance indicators within weeks or months of training.
Competitive Pricing & A la Carte Options
We now offer flexible pricing models to support team-based bundles with on-site athletic trainers or individual packages focused on performance or recovery.
World-class Care
Our Saunders Center for Orthopaedics & Physical Performance, located at Marketplace Mall, combines the latest in care, research and education under one roof to create a center unlike any other in the Northeast.
What Sets Us Apart?
As part of an academic medical center, we offer a unique integration of clinical care, academic research, and athletic performance training. No matter what your goals are, we have the experience and knowledge to create a specific program based on your particular needs—safely and effectively.
Our strength and conditioning programs are designed by a team of medical professionals, exercise scientists, and athletic trainers who understand the science behind movement and recovery. Every athlete benefits from a plan tailored to their specific sport and goals—rooted in the latest evidence and delivered through a collaborative, medically informed approach.
Our researchers have published findings on injury prevention, particularly among female high school athletes, showing improvements in movement quality, mental focus, and long-term outcomes. These insights are directly applied to our training protocols.
We continuously measure and refine our programs using performance data gathered in real-time. This not only provides measurable goals and improvements, but allows us to identify patterns and risks across athlete groups. Our expertise means we’re able to offer sport-specific clinics, such as a multidisciplinary runners’ clinic run by a physician, physical therapist, and performance trainer. They offer specialized care to runners of all ages and skill sets, using technology such as a zero-gravity treadmill for rehabilitation.
