Research

group at posterUnder the supervision of faculty, each resident will prepare and present a research project, relevant to pediatric dentistry. Research may be of a clinical or basic-science nature. Residents choose research projects based on their interests and the topic’s relationship to children's oral health. The results of resident research projects are presented at research forums at the local and national level. Residents routinely present at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s Annual Session, the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association’s Annual Meeting, and the University of Rochester’s local American Academy of Dental Research Annual Meeting.
