About Our Support Group
A cancer diagnosis and undergoing treatment is challenging for both patients and their loved ones. UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Oral Head and Neck Cancer Support Group offers much-needed social and emotional support to those living with this type of cancer, as well as their families and caregivers. To ensure quality of care, our head and neck surgeons attend the monthly meetings to discuss pertinent issues related to treatment and provide counseling.
