Fellow Life

Fellows get togetherOur gastroenterology fellows benefit from a busy, academic teaching hospital balanced with a reasonable call-schedule which allows us to maintain an active social life. There is no shortage of challenging cases as well as general gastroenterology at Strong. We have a variety of teaching conferences, including GI-Surgery, M&M, journal clubs, pathology, board review and interesting case conferences.

There is a real sense of camaraderie among the fellows and attendings which lends itself to a friendly, supportive learning environment. We get together after hours for barbeques, Super Bowl parties and dinner or drinks at one of the many local bars and restaurants.
