Fellow Research

The divisions of Cardiac and Thoracic/Foregut Surgery offer a wide range of research projects for fellows to choose from. Projects are available through the Cardiovascular Research Institute, our large animal research lab, the Thoracic Esophageal Motility Lab, or collaboration projects with medical device industry. We are very flexible and allow fellows to pursue research in Cardiothoracic Surgery that will enhance their surgical training. Fellows are encouraged to participate in research and publish with the faculty.
