I am from Mumbai, India and completed my Bachelors in Microbiology at KJ Somaiya College of Science and Commerce/University of Mumbai, and have a post-graduate diploma in Bioinformatics from St. Xavier’s College. My interests are in cancer research and immunotherapy. I am a proud plant mom and I love to run.

Blake spent two years at Frontier Medicines, where he developed cell-based assays for various oncology projects. Before venturing into the industry, Blake earned a BS in Chemistry from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. His undergraduate research spanned organic and computational chemistry, focusing on synthesizing and modeling tubulin inhibitors as potential cancer therapies. Outside of the lab you may find Blake failing at fly fishing, cycling, or enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Yuchang graduated from China Agricultural University majoring in Animal Science. Her main research interest is the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and the development of novel therapies to combat multidrug-resistant bacteria. In her spare time, she enjoys reading philosophy and social science books, and she is also interested in rock music.

Sumaita graduated with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the Asian University for Women, Bangladesh. Her research interests include studies on the human microbiome and pathogens. In her spare time, she enjoys reading (about the purpose of life—discovering the truth), gardening, and crafting.

Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, where she discovered her passion for immunology and being in the lab. In her spare time, you can find Jennifer learning a new skill or hobby, traveling, spending time outside, and exploring strange new worlds through reading.

My BS degree in Biotechnology is from Savitribai Phule Pune University and I earned an MS in Biotechnology from Amity University in Panvel, India. When I'm not busy with studies and lab work, you will find me lost in the grocery store aisles or reading books and sipping coffee.

Catherine joins us from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she earned a BS in Human Biology.  She was a collegiate soccer player there, as well as during time spent at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
