No Work Saturday 1/22

There will be no construction work this weekend.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation with the super structure steel as the steel workers will be detailing the decking the 8^th floor. The fifth floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 28th starting at 7 a.m.  Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but the building wrap should keep this activity from any impact to neighbors and patients. Mechanical hangers are being installed on the 6^th, 7^th and 8^th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping. Crews are also preparing for concrete slab pours with shear studs, rebar, fire stopping sleeves, embedments, and rebar. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. Temporary building enclosure is being installed utilizing ZAP wrap on the 5^th and 6^th floors. The new tower 7^th floor temporary roofing / vapor barrier will also be put in place this week (weather depending).

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Saturday Work 1/15

Crews will be on site Saturday 1/15 working on the structural steel and detailing decking on the upper floors from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weather dependent). Concrete workers will also be on site covering the 2^nd floor newly poured slab with concrete blankets.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation building super structure steel as the steel workers detail decking on the upper levels. Crews will also be pouring the second floor concrete slab on Friday 1/14 starting at 7 a.m. and pouring the third floor concrete slab on Tuesday 1/18 (weather dependent). Concrete finishing has the potential to run later into the day, but the building wrap should isolate any potential impacts to the neighborhood. Mechanical hangers are being put in on the 6^th, 7^th and 8^th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping.  The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. Temporary building enclosure is happening using ZAP wrap. New tower 7^th floor temporary roofing will be installed starting the week of January 17^th (weather dependent).

No Work New Year's Weekend

The construction site will be shut down Friday 12/31 for the New Year’s Holiday. No work will occur over the holiday weekend.

Mechanical hangers will be put in on the 2^nd,  3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping. Crews will also be preparing for concrete slab pours with shear studs, rebar, fire stopping sleeves, embedments and rebar. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor.
