Saturday Work 8/27 and Generator Testing

Crews will be on site this Saturday 8/27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall. Mechanical and piping installations will also be taking place inside the building. Outside, miscellaneous exterior work will continue from the scaffolding.

The annual code required generator testing will also be occurring on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. The testing will sound like a truck motor running.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Fire proofing continues on structural members from the scaffolding. Crews will be installing the interior and exterior framing on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical floors. Drywall top fill will be installed on the 6th and 7th floor for mechanicals and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue throughout the building.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. Any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Crews will be on site Saturday 8/20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall and miscellaneous framing while mechanicals and piping are installed on the upper floors. Various exterior work will also be done using the swing stage scaffolding.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Fire proofing continues from scaffolding outside the structure. Interior and exterior framing will be installed on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Drywall top fill is being completed on the 6th and 7th floors for mechanicals and drywall finishing is happening on all of the floors. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue throughout the addition. Brick is being installed on the fuel oil building and new exit corridor.

Next week there will be deliveries at the South Ave. entrance to the hospital from Tuesday 8/23 to Thursday 8/25 that may mean other simultaneous deliveries need to be redirected to the Mt. Vernon entrance.  If this happens, flaggers will be on site to direct traffic flow.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. Any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Crews will be on site on Saturday 8/13 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. working on drywall and framing as well as mechanical and piping installations on the upper floors. Crews will also be working on welding parts of the building from the scaffolding on the outside.

During the week, the tower crane and buck hoist will be used for various activities on site. Fire proofing continues along with interior and exterior framing on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Drywall top fill is also being installed on the 6th and 7th floors for mechanicals. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough ins continue in multiple locations within the building.

Crews will be on site this Saturday 8/6 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Inside work will include drywall, framing, and pip installations. Exterior work will include welding and panel installation from scaffolding on the east side of the building.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for work throughout the building. Interior and exterior framing will be installed on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Drywall top fill will be installed on the 6th and 7th floors for mechanicals. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins will be installed in multiple locations within the building. Brick is being installed on the fuel oil building and new exit corridor.
