Mandatory Testing of Hospital Generators

Hospitals are required to test the full capacity of their emergency generators annually.
To meet this requirement, a load bank, which safely simulates the electrical demands placed on the hospital’s emergency generators, is needed.  The trailer with the load back will be set up on Bellevue Drive on Friday, August 14.

Testing is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. During testing, nearby residents may hear noise similar to a truck engine running.
