Mt. Vernon Ave. Partial Road Closure, Saturday 11/12/16

This Saturday, November 12, Mt. Vernon Ave. will be closed from Rockingham St. to the South end of Highland Hospital. This part of the road will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. so a crane can remove the current Linear Accelerator from the Radiation Oncology Department. Local traffic will be allowed on the street during the closure but delays can be expected. Highland Hospital will work with households that are directly impacted by the closure.

A Linear Accelerator is a machine that provides external beam radiation treatments for patients with cancer. The old one is being removed so that a new one can be put in its place in the next few weeks. We will send out another notice when the new Linear Accelerator is ready to be installed.

Thank you for your patience. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any questions.
