The George H. Whipple Lab for Cancer Research was established in 1997 with the recruitment of Dr. Chawnshang Chang as the Founder and current Director. The lab is located in the University of Rochester Medical Center with 7 professors/principal investigators. The lab's interest is mainly in the sex hormones/nuclear receptors and Vitamin D/E effects on the prostate/bladder cancer and other hormones-related diseases.
