Zhang Lab | RNA Biology & Cancer Immunology
The Zhang Lab investigates how RNA splicing, epigenetic dysregulation, and altered antigen presentation shape hematopoietic stem cell biology, clonal hematopoiesis, and blood cancer development. Our research focuses on understanding how genetic mutations and RNA processing abnormalities influence interactions between malignant cells and the immune microenvironment, enabling immune evasion and disease progression. By integrating functional genomics, single-cell and spatial multi-omics, and immunological approaches, we aim to uncover fundamental mechanisms of hematologic malignancies and develop innovative immunotherapies, including engineered TCR-T cells, to restore immune recognition and eliminate malignant cells.
