Borrowing Library Materials

Faculty, staff, students and residents affiliated with the University of Rochester are eligible to borrow materials from Bibby Library. All others are invited to use the library during our hours of operation.

Loan Periods:

  • Books
    • Faculty & Staff: 90 days w/ 3 renewals
    • Residents & Students: 21 days w/ 3 renewals
  • Bound Journals & Unbound Print Journals — Do not circulate
  • Dental journals in print are shelved in the stacks at Miner Library.

Renew a Book or Journal

You will receive an email before your item is due, which will contain a link to your renewal options. If you still need the item beyond the final renewal date, or cannot renew for any reason, please contact the librarian.

If an item you need is already checked out, you may place a hold on it to be notified when it is returned.
