Study Rooms on First Floor
There are six study rooms located on the first floor in the front of the library. All rooms are equipped with tables, chairs and whiteboards. These rooms may be used for group collaboration or individual study. Some may be reserved for use during library operating hours, others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that after library operating hours, all study rooms are first-come, first-served.

Group Study and Recording Room, 1-6223B
The room features a PC, microphone, speakers, and internet access. It's a good place to make a recording, or schedule a Zoom meeting or job interview. The room is also available for individual or group study. This room may be reserved for use during library operating hours. After library operating hours, the room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Capacity: 4. Reserve the Group Study and Recording Room

Study Rooms in Stacks
There are five small study rooms located on the outer perimeter of the stacks. One is located on the upper stacks level and four are on the lower stacks level. Rooms are equipped with tables, chairs and whiteboards. These rooms are available during library operating hours on a first-come, first served basis. The rooms may be used for group collaboration or individual study.

Lobby Area
Located just inside the main entrance. A variety of seating and table options are available in the Miner Library Lobby Area collaboration space. Talking in this area is allowed and encouraged!
Main Reading Room
Lots of different seating, a fireplace, and plenty of outlets for your mobile computing are waiting here for you. This area is for quiet study. Miner Library's main reading room was the original lobby of Strong Memorial Hospital!

Reading Room Annex 1-6010
Off our main reading room, you will find additional study space and computer stations. This is a popular, light-filled location for quiet, individual reading, study, and computer use. You will find computer tables and individual study carrels here.


Bhagat Classroom 1-6200D
The Bhagat classroom features an 84" wall-mounted 4K display. Additionally, there's an instructor's station with a Dell PC, HDMI and USB-C laptop connections, and Apple TV for displaying iOS devices. The classroom is also outfitted with two motorized cameras, ceiling speakers, and microphones to facilitate hybrid meetings. The tables and chairs can be easily rearranged to accommodate your teaching, meeting, or data visualization needs. Capacity: 20
The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) coordinates the scheduling of the Bhagat classroom. Reservation Information
When not reserved for a class or meeting, this room is available for collaboration or study. A schedule of weekly activities can be found by scanning the QR code posted outside the room.

Study Tables and Carrels in Stacks
You will also find study tables and carrels dispersed throughout the upper level of the stacks. Available for individual study during library operating hours.

Atrium
Just outside the Library main entrance, there are many tables and chairs placed along the walls of this long hallway. It’s a great place to study, to have an impromptu meeting, or to have lunch. Plenty of natural light from the skylights!
