M.D., University of Rochester, Rochester, NY
Residency in Neurology, University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY

Current Positions
Experimental Therapeutics Fellow, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY
Instructor, Department of Neurology, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY

Research Interests
My research interests are in neuropalliative care and movement disorders. I am interested in developing prognostic models to help predict disease course and mortality in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. I am also interested in how providers, patients, and care partners communicate about and understand prognosis.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and hiking with my family, including my small son. I also have a cat, whom we occasionally walk outside on a leash!

Residency in Neurology, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA

Current Positions
Experimental Therapeutics Fellow, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY
Instructor, Department of Neurology, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY

Research Interests
My primary interests are in addressing health disparities in neurological care and with a focus in multiple sclerosis. I hope to work on improving access to clinical trials to all populations and intertwining that with community-based participatory research in order to support communities' agency and autonomy.

I speak 3 languages (English, Vietnamese, Teochew Chinese) fluently and have basic knowledge of 2 other languages (Mandarin, Cantonese).

Research Interests
I am interested in bringing novel therapeutic treatments to children with neuromuscular disorders. My current projects are focused on characterizing pediatric facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) to better understand the natural history of the disease and how this differs from traditional, adult-onset FSHD. I am also working to develop novel imaging biomarkers that can be used to monitor changes in muscle composition over time using whole-body MRI and neuromuscular ultrasound imaging techniques. I hope to further expand the use of this technology to other pediatric neuromuscular disorders. This information will be useful in clinical trials as a surrogate for monitoring disease progression as new treatment modalities are developed and brought to the clinic for human trials.
