E.A.R.S. Lifeline & Medication Dispensing Programs

E.A.R.S. Lifeline is your local medical alert provider. We have been in service since 1982! We support older adults and those with chronic medical conditions living at home by sending help whenever the unexpected happens…a fall, medical problem, mobility issue or security concern. Our local program covers more than a 50-mile radius of Noyes Hospital, including Livingston and surrounding counties.

Current Lifeline Service Options Available

Philips Lifeline

Basic HomeSafe Landline Service: $33/monthcommunicator

  • Waterproof Personal Help Button available as a necklace or wristband
  • Works in and around the home
  • AutoAlert Fall Detector help button option available - will call out for help automatically if a person has a fall and does not get up on their own: $12/month

 

HomeSafe Wireless Service: $43/month

Wireless transmitter

  • For those who do not have a telephone landline
  • Waterproof Personal Help Button available as necklace or wristband
  • AutoAlert Fall Detector option available: $12/month

GoSafe 2 Mobile Service Options: $44/month and a mobile help button fee does apply

GoSafe Mobile

  • Provides access to help anywhere in the United States that has AT&T Cellular service
  • Built in Fall Detection and two-way communicator
  • 5 locating technologies

Medication Dispensing Service

The Medication Dispenser is easy to use and can help keep older adults living independently at home. It tells you or a loved one when to take the appropriate medications and dispenses them in the correct amounts. When monitored, the machine notifies a caregiver of any issues such as a missed dose.

  • Will hold up to 60 Doses of Medication
  • Can dispense medicine up to 6 times a day
  • Medication cups hold up to 30 pills (Aspirin size)
  • Caregiver Alerts if medication is missed

Other Lifeline and Medication Dispenser Fees

  • $25 one time installation fee
  • Sliding scale for monthly fee is available for all subscribers who are income eligible
