Dr. Tarun Bhalla has joined URMC as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Neurology and Imaging Sciences and Director of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Services at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

He was previously at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA where he served for 3 years as the Director of Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery.

Dr. Bhalla did his residency training, as well as a Surgical Endovascular Neuroradiology Fellowship, at the Cleveland Clinic.

His interests include open cerebrovascular and endovascular treatment for spinal and cerebrovascular disease including stroke, aneurysms, AVMs, carotid/vertebral disease and trigeminal neuralgia.
