Laurel is a passionate and experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background. Originally from Oregon, Laurel has recently relocated to Rochester from Denver and is thrilled to be joining the group.

With a rich history in women's health and maternal care, Laurel has worn many hats throughout her career. She began as a pre- and post-natal yoga teacher, fostering wellness and mindfulness in mothers-to-be. Her journey then led her to become a doula, providing invaluable support to expectant mothers during childbirth.

Driven by her dedication to maternal health, Laurel pursued nursing and specialized in labor and delivery, gaining experience in hospital and free-standing birth center settings. Her holistic approach to care and deep understanding of the birth process make her a trusted ally for expectant mothers.

Beyond her healthcare roles, Laurel has also served as an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter (including one year in Rochester), showcasing her commitment to inclusivity and communication accessibility. She is excited to bring her skills to Rochester and work closely with the Deaf community, ensuring that every individual receives the care and support they deserve.

With her wealth of experience and compassionate nature, Laurel is ready to make a positive impact in her new community and empower women throughout their birthing journey and throughout their lives.

Honestly the best experience I've ever had with a new caregiver/provider she really blew it out of the park with her kindness and she knew exactly what she was talking about!

It is great how the midwife asked very specific questions to be sure my recovery postpartum is on track where it should be. She also provided helpful information to help me in the future as well.
