urogynecologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he serves as Assistant
Professor in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed his residency at St. Francis Hospital and a fellowship at the University of Rochester. His clinical and research interests include pelvic organ prolapse and minimally invasive surgery, and adjuvant pain management in outpatient procedures. Dr. Hernández-Aranda has presented his work at the American Urogynecology Society (AUGS) and the International Urogynecologic Association (IUGA), published in the Official Journal of the American Urogynecologic Society and is actively involved in clinical trials and resident and fellow education.

This experience with Dr. Hernandez ranked among the best I have ever encountered in the medical world (and I see an Inordinate number of doctors). This will probably not come as a surprise, but he was thorough, compassionate, and genuinely likable. I was very impressed.

Wonderful experience with Dr. Hernandez! Took his time, listened to concerns I had, and what I should do to further better myself since there was still a little prolapse after surgery. He did tell me that it was normal for that after surgery. I feel so much better because of Dr. Hernandez!

I commend Dr. Diego Hernandez-Aranda for going beyond my expectations and suggesting a commercially available way I could handle my nocturia. I have purchased the suggested system and am tonight going to test it out.

[...] My doctor was Dr Hernandez-Aranda for this visit and he is terrific! I have seen him in the past. He showed compassion, knew my history well, and even had some casual conversation. He really is a skilled surgeon/doctor that knows what he's doing! I hope he gets recognized for his good work.

Dr. Hernandez (he has 2 last names, can't recall the second) is by far one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He genuinely cares about his patients. He approaches very sensitive issues with a trauma informed lens and made me feel very comfortable throughout a difficult procedure.
