Dr. Lizarraga is a neuromuscular medicine specialist who focuses on the diagnosis and management of autoimmune neuromuscular disorders, including Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) and myositis. She completed dual fellowships in both Neuromuscular Disorders and Neuroimmunology/Multiple Sclerosis in addition to completing a Masters of Science degree in Clinical & Translational Research. Her research interests include epidemiology, biomarker development, neurophysiological techniques, patient-centered outcomes and clinical trial work for emerging therapies in autoimmune neuromuscular disorders.
