Programs for Dentists Trained in the United States and Canada

These residency programs seek applications from dentists who obtained their dental degree (DDS or DMD) from a dental school located in either the United States or Canada accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA) Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC).

Foreign-trained dentists who have successfully completed a CODA accredited two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program or an Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (D.D.S. or D.M.D.) program in the United States are also eligible to apply for residency programs. 

Residents in these programs receive a stipend and are eligible for Resident Benefits including health care and dental plans, wellness programs, vacation, tuition benefits and more.
