Katie Webster, M.S.N., A.P.R.N., F.N.P.-B.C

Katie WebsterKatie Webster joined our clinical team as a nurse practitioner in June 2023. Prior to this, she provided neurologic care as a clinical nurse practitioner in the UR Neurology Department's Movement Disorders Unit since 2017. Previous experience also includes primary care for disabled adults and teaching nursing full-time for four years. Katie holds a Family Nurse Practitioner Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tulsa. She is also licensed in NYS and board certified as a registered nurse (RN) and a nurse practitioner in family health (FNP-BC), as well as holding an Associate of Occupational Science degree in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute College of Health Science. 

Katie sees patients for nicotine dependence, diabetes prevention, obesity, and other chronic conditions related to metabolic health. Her clinical interests include exploring all the ways the body, mind, spirit, and environment inform and interact with one another. She brings her love of teaching to clinic visits where she focuses on empowerment of the individual to advance their goals, lead a healthy life, and carry health forward into their community.
