About the Program

URMC is a leading academic medical institution which is ranked 15th in federal research funding among the 176 top funded research universities. We support large Diagnostic Radiology and Integrated Diagnostic-Interventional Radiology Residency programs, and several subspecialty fellowships.

The goals of our Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Program are to:

  • Provide robust clinical imaging training to equip the fellow with the tools and knowledge to practice excellent, safe and responsible pediatric diagnostic imaging
  • Provide ample opportunities for teaching, research, and quality improvement

The primary mission of our fellowship program is to provide an engaging and supportive environment for the training of our colleagues in Pediatric Radiology. Through the fellowship year, the trainee will acquire skills necessary for efficient analysis, precise interpretation, and clear communication of results to referring physicians of pediatric studies. Research is strongly encouraged. Whatever be the direction of your future career, you will be very well served by our team.
