Emergency Department Physicians

Registered Nurses

Our team of nurses focuses on providing patient-centered care to every person who comes through our doors. Registered nurses direct and deliver comprehensive patient care, and supervise the activities of our patient care technicians. They share all pertinent information and coordinate activities for each patient assigned to them.

Nurses are equipped to begin basic treatment—blood can be drawn and x-rays taken—before the doctor even meets with the patient. This means the doctor can assess the patient, blood tests, and x-rays all at the same time, and prescribe medical treatment much more quickly.

Many of our nurses have geriatric-specific NICHE training and are certified by the ANCC.

Patient Care Technicians

Patient care technicians support our team by performing various support tasks, all of which are directed and supervised by a nurse.
