Saturday Work 9/17

Crews will be onsite Saturday 9/17 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall and other crews will be working on mechanical piping installations on the upper floors. On the outside of the structure, various work will be happening from the swing stage scaffolding including hunter panel installation, window installation on the east elevations and steel work between the new tower and existing hospital.

During the week, the tower crane and buck hoist will be used for activities on site. Interior and exterior framing continue on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Full height drywall is being installed on the 6^th and 7^th floors. Painters are working their way through priming and putting the first paint coats where drywall is finished. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue through the building. Brick is being installed on the west elevation and roofing is being put on the mechanical penthouse.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. Any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency. 

Saturday Work 9/10

Crews will be onsite Saturday 9/10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall and miscellaneous framing inside the building while hunter panel installation takes place on the building’s exterior.

During the week, the tower crane and buck hoist will be used for activities onsite. Interior and exterior framing is taking place on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Drywall top fill is being put in on the 6^th and 7^th floors for mechanicals. Drywall finishing is now taking place on all floors. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue to be installed throughout the building. Brick is being installed on the new exit corridor.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. Any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency. 

No Work Labor Day Weekend

There will be no construction work Saturday, 9/3 through Monday, 9/5 due to the Labor Day holiday.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Interior and exterior framing continues on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th floors and the mechanical penthouse. Drywall top fill is being installed on the 6^{th ,} and 7^th floor for mechanicals. Full height drywall is being put in on the 6th floor. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing roughs in also continue in multiple locations within the building. Curtain wall window frames are being installed on the east elevation and brick is starting on the new exit corridor.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. Any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency. 

Saturday Work 8/27 and Generator Testing

Crews will be on site this Saturday 8/27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall. Mechanical and piping installations will also be taking place inside the building. Outside, miscellaneous exterior work will continue from the scaffolding.

The annual code required generator testing will also be occurring on Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. The testing will sound like a truck motor running.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Fire proofing continues on structural members from the scaffolding. Crews will be installing the interior and exterior framing on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, and mechanical floors. Drywall top fill will be installed on the 6^th and 7^th floor for mechanicals and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue throughout the building.

Saturday Work 8/20

Crews will be on site Saturday 8/20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Carpenters will be working on drywall and miscellaneous framing while mechanicals and piping are installed on the upper floors. Various exterior work will also be done using the swing stage scaffolding.

During the week, crews will be using the tower crane and buck hoist for activities on site. Fire proofing continues from scaffolding outside the structure. Interior and exterior framing will be installed on the 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, and mechanical penthouse floors. Drywall top fill is being completed on the 6^th and 7^th floors for mechanicals and drywall finishing is happening on all of the floors. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough ins continue throughout the addition. Brick is being installed on the fuel oil building and new exit corridor.

Next week there will be deliveries at the South Ave. entrance to the hospital from Tuesday 8/23 to Thursday 8/25 that may mean other simultaneous deliveries need to be redirected to the Mt. Vernon entrance.  If this happens, flaggers will be on site to direct traffic flow.
