Saturday Construction 6/26

Crews will be on site working on exterior foundation work this Saturday 6/26 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. as part of the Patient Tower Construction Project. Deep foundation, pile cap and grade beam installation will continue on the project for approximately 9 weeks. Excavation and grading work will happen at the same time as the deep foundation installations.

South Building roofing work is temporarily on hold.

Crews will also be working on Saturday 6/26 on the retaining wall along South Ave. outside the Professional Office Building. That work is expected to take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and will continue Monday through Friday of next week. The sidewalk on South Ave. between the Highland sign and the fire hydrant will be closed for safety reasons for the duration of the project. The road lane next to the project will also be partially closed at times and a flagger will be on hand for traffic as necessary.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the micropile and deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
