Working in the Lab

Graduate Students

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in conducting research in the area of tissue engineering and drug delivery. Students with backgrounds in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Biology or related fields are encouraged to apply to the Biomedical Engineering graduate program.

Students must be officially admitted to the UR Biomedical Engineering Department, the Chemical Engineering Department, or the Graduate Biomedical Sciences Program before consideration can be made to join the lab. Interested students should contact Prof. Benoit.

Undergraduate Students

UR undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience in the lab should contact Prof. Benoit before each semester and provide:

  • Letter of interest (why do you want to do research in the Benoit Lab?)
  • Resume
