Pathways The Pathway programs provides medical students with an enriched experience throughout their four years of medical school in a variety of disciplines and topics. In addition to the regular curriculum, students who enroll in a Pathway will have diversified opportunities in a variety of clinical and research activities, electives and special events each year over their four years. Each Pathway student works with a mentor who oversees their Pathway progress and advises them on their final Pathway project. Students who successfully complete the Pathway requirements and project will have information about their work added to their Dean's letter to residency programs. Students interested in the Medical Humanities Pathway or Bioethics Pathway are invited to attend an Information Session in the Fall of their first year. Following the various Information Sessions in the fall of Year 1, interested students must submit the online Pathway Preliminary Application for their chosen Pathway by March 1 of their first year.
