Adolescent and Young Adult Clinic

Are you a young adult struggling with substance use? We’re here to help.

At Strong Recovery, we want to help you overcome addiction in an environment made for your needs. That’s why we’ve created an adolescent and young adult (AYA) substance use disorder program. If you’re between the ages of 14-24, and are struggling with substance use, you’re eligible for our program.

Our trained staff will provide you with individualized treatment to help you overcome substance use. And while you work on recovery, we help your family, siblings, significant other, and friends learn to support you on this journey.

Why Strong Recovery?

A unique program.

Strong Recovery’s AYA program is the first and only of its kind in the region. We tailor your care to your age and emotional development, as well as other factors that drive substance use like your home, school or work environment, your physical health and existing mental health issues.

Access to advanced care.

Strong Recovery is part of UR Medicine, which gives you access to expert specialists and other relevant services, such as high-quality medical care, and mental health professionals.

How we help you towards recovery:

  • Patient-centered individual therapy, group therapy and peer support programs to help you build a strong support network
  • Creative fine arts therapy to teach you healthy forms expression
  • Education for your family to teach them about addiction and how they can support you

The Strong Recovery Adolescent and Young Adult program is now open and we welcome you to become our patient.
