Advanced Practice Provider - Hospitalist/ICU

Full Time, Days (7a - 7p, 3x12's)

Pay Range: $54.80 - $69.50 per hour

Job Description:

To admit and execute orders on adult patients requiring inpatient medical coverage. Obtains detailed sign-out from the overnight teams to assist in any medical issues that need to be followed up. To convey pertinent patient medical problems to the covering attending so a medical treatment plan can be formed.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation of an AMA approved PA Program or Nurse Practitioner Program and Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or NPS is required.
• Must possess a current NYS license.
• Must maintain current ACLS training. Must obtain 100 credit hours of CME every two years as per NCCPA requirements. Must meet the requirements and abide by the regulations as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws for Allied Health Professionals.
• One to two years of inpatient medicine experience is preferred. Must demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal competence, good teaching skills and the desire to learn.

Advanced Practice Provider - Nephrology

Job Description:

In collaboration with the Supervising Physician, assist qualified licensed physicians in the diagnostic management and treatment of patients in the Nephrology Practice. Maintains patient care standards and acts as a patient safety advocate. Also participates in process improvement and other activities as required.

ACLS preferred.  Previous experience functioning as an Advance Practice Provider in gastroenterology or related healthcare experience preferred.
