Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (2 Positions)

Job Details:

Full Time, Monday - Friday w/call

Job Description:

Provides quality anesthesia care to include pre-operative assessment; intraoperative life support and optimal levels of anesthesia to assure patient comfort and safety; postoperative (PACU) care as necessary; maintains appropriate certification and credentialing.

Advanced Practice Provider - Nocturnist

Job Details:

2 Positions available, both are nights, 8 p.m. -8a.m., with every other weekend and holiday

Job Description:

Provides patient care under coordination with Hospitalist or Emergency Department Providers on staff at Noyes Health. The patient population is adults on the Hospitalist inpatient service, ED patients, and patients on observation status.

Job Requirements:

Graduation of an AMA approved PA Program or Nurse Practitioner Program and Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or NPS is required. Must possess a current NYS license. Must maintain current ACLS training. Must obtain 100 credit hours of CME every two years as per NCCPA requirements. Must meet the requirements and abide by the regulations as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws for Allied Health Professionals.

One to two years of inpatient medicine experience is required for a Nocturnist. Must demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal competence, good teaching skills and the desire to learn.

Under minimal supervision perform and oversee all office management services and referrals/enrollments for the Medical Alert Program.  Manage the smooth and efficient operation of all office functions. Mental Health Counselor/Creative Arts Therapist (4 Positions)

Job Description:

Noyes Mental Health and Wellness provides mental health services to Livingston County and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking full time therapists in our Dansville and Avon, New York clinics. The positions involve providing individual and group psychotherapy services to children and adults in collaboration with our psychiatric prescribers. Dialysis/Case Management Social Worker

Job Description:  

For Dialysis: Responsible for gathering information about the Chronic Dialysis patient's social, psychological, cultural, environmental, and financial situation. Counsels patients and families regarding the adjustment to their illness, treatment, and lifestyle changes. Provides continuing education to patients and their family regarding treatment modalities, psycho-social adjustment to treatment, etc.

For Case Management: The Social Worker is responsible for providing direct care to hospital customers and working with the Patient Care Managers to assist in Discharge planning.

Job Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work required, clinical experience in medical social work; CSW preferred. Social work experience in a dialysis setting working with health oriented community programs or satisfactory background in family casework with a total of at least two years’ experience. Additional experience in group work or teaching will be helpful raining aspects of the position.

RN Case Manager - Case Management (4 Positions)

Job Description:

Works collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and screen for the appropriateness of admissions and Continued stays. Reviews alternatives with the physicians for alternate levels of care when the patient does not meet the medical necessity for Inpatient hospitalization. Interacts with the family, patient, and or caregiver and other disciplines to coordinate a safe and acceptable discharge plan. Works collaboratively with a Multidisciplinary team.

Job Requirements:

Licensed and currently registered to practice as a professional nurse in New York State required.  B.S. degree preferred.  Previous case management required, Discharge planning experience required. Tradesman/Lead Electrician

Job Details:

Job Description:

Performs electrical/electronic troubleshooting, installation, repair and programming of hospital's Frequency Drives, commercial/residential electrical systems, computer cabling, electrical substations, switchboards, panel boards, motor control centers, building environmental direct digital control systems and fire and security systems with full knowledge of National Electrical Code, at multiple hospital owned sites. Maintain record drawings.  Performs duties of the Maintenance Mechanics trades when not working as an electrician. Must be available for on-call.

Job Requirements:

Union trade school or similar experience preferred. Some technical background in areas of responsibility preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial electrician. Training with IT cabling, termination and installation preferred or equivalent construction trade experience required and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating and ventilation and mechanical trades preferred.  Must have valid driver's license.

Job Description:

 Monitor the hospital entrance and screen employees and visitors by asking a set of questions, taking temperatures, handing out masks as needed, and reinforcing proper hand hygiene.  During visiting hours, keep a log of visitor, who they are visiting, unit, room, and bed #, issue corresponding badge, and when visit is done, collect and sanitize badge.

Job Requirements:

 High School diploma or equivalent required. Individual must be confident enough to enforce rules set for entrance into the Hospital. Customer Service background with good communication and organizational skills a plus.

Job Description:

Involved in storage, preparation and dispensing pharmaceuticals, biologicals and supplies in the hospital. Aid the Supervising Pharmacist with administrative duties and supervision of non-professional department personnel.

Job Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy with licensure in New York State as Pharmacist required.  One-year experience in hospital pharmacy, or equivalent in education and experience as determined by Supervising Pharmacist on an individual basis preferred.
