As midwife with a background in community organizing, Megan holds a BA in International Affairs from George Washington University, and a BS in Nursing from the University of Rochester. She earned a MS in Midwifery at Thomas Jefferson University. Throughout her various roles serving communities and patients in Rochester, NY, she has committed to connecting people with consent-driven, compassionate care. Prior to becoming a midwife, she worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse in large academic settings as well as small, community hospitals. Megan believes that there are important links between civic engagement and healthy communities, and is particularly interested in improving access to perinatal mental health services in our region.
