PGY2 Pharmacy Residency Programs

The University of Rochester Department of Pharmacy offers two AHSP accredited PGY2 programs to à offers two ASHP accredited PGY2 Programs (Emergency Medicine and Infectious Diseases) and one ASHP Candidate PGY2 Program (Oncology):

PGY2 Emergency Medicine

Pharmacist completing the PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency will have gained the skills necessary to be competent and confident emergency medicine clinical pharmacists. The residents will function as key members of the health care team and be accountable for achieving optimal drug therapy outcomes for their patients. These pharmacists will become skilled educators to other health care professionals, patients and community on infectious diseases-related topics. The resident will demonstrate professional maturity by developing and following a personal philosophy of excellence, monitoring his or her own performance and exhibiting a commitment to the profession of pharmacy. PGY2 Infectious Diseases

Pharmacists completing the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency will have gained the skills necessary to be competent and confident infectious diseases clinical pharmacists. PGY2 Oncology (ASHP Candidate status)
