5.1 Drug Screen
- All new, paid UR faculty
- All new faculty contracted via locum agency
- Included as part of the initial credentialing process for the medical staff appointment
- For those that don’t require medical staff appointment and voluntary faculty that change to being paid by UR, departments schedule a drug screen appointment with Employee Health as “research only.”
5.2 Completion of I-9
Hiring departments facilitate completion of part one and two of an I-9 for paid faculty hires. Within myURHR, the data services team will confirm completion of the I-9 before the hire can be finalized.
- An I-9 is required for new employees, rehires, and those with a change to paid status
