Get Started
To get started, visit https://redcap.urmc.rochester.edu. Users with a URMC account should use their URMC credentials to log in to REDCap. External users will need a sponser with a URMC account to request a Guest URMC Account. For more information regarding external users please reference the REDCap Access for External Users guide.
The first time you log into the REDCap system a new account will be created. We encourage users to create and account and play around with a few test databases to get acquainted with the system. Free in-person consultations are available for questions about using REDCap for a specific study.
Get Training
To learn more about REDCap, demonstration and tutorial videos are currently available on the National REDCap Consortium website. There are also many user guides available on the REDCap portal.
Cost
REDCap is available for use to the URMC Community at no cost.
If the requester wishes to retain the services of a development consultant to design REDCap databases, data entry forms, or surveys, please contact the ORIT team. These consulting services are available on a recharge consulting basis.
