The surgeons in the Division of Thoracic & Foregut Surgery, all members of the faculty of the University of Rochester School of Medicine, are nationally and internationally renowned specialists in diseases of the esophagus, stomach, lung, and chest cavity. State-of-the-art diagnostic and esophageal motility laboratories are an integral part of the practice. This division has been instrumental in the clinical development of ambulatory pH and impedance motility testing and promoting foregut diagnostics throughout the world.
