December 1, 2, and 3, A Charlie Brown Christmas Presented by the Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department
Four showings of a student production at Nazareth College. All contributions will benefit Golisano Children's Hospital and $7 donations and/or a new, unwrapped toy are recommended. Cash and checks payable to Golisano Children's Hospital will be accepted. Seating is limited and reservations are required. December 2 and 3, Zoey's Lovely Heart Club Second Annual Tree Farm Fundraiser
11 a.m.-9 p.m. at 3614 Rush Mendon Road, Mendon. Get your Christmas tree or wreath and help raise funds for the NICU at Golisano Children's Hospital. Trees are $65-75, wreaths are $30-50, hoodies are $40, and food and drinks are free.
December 3, Holiday Brunch at the Cub Room
11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Cub Room, 739 S. Clinton Avenue. The event features brunch and whiskey specials, as well as live holiday music by Tommy Brunett and the Whiskey Soaked Scoundrels. The Cub Room will be accepting monetary donations, coloring books, pajama bottoms for teens, and gift cards to Target and Babies "R" Us at the door. Pictures with Santa are $5. December 22, Rainbow Classic
Girls' game at 6 p.m., boys' game at 8 p.m. at the Palestra at the University of Rochester. The heated rivalry between Pittsford Mendon and Pittsford Sutherland always makes for great entertainment. Every penny from admission and commemorative program sales from this year’s event will support the furnishing of the teen lounge in the new Golisano Children’s Hospital. January 16 and February 10, Battle of the Beaks
Rivals Nazareth and St. John Fisher will battle in men and women's Basketball with all proceeds from ticket sales, prize raffles, and commemorative T-shirt sales benefiting the kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital. The game on January 16th will be held at St. John Fisher’s Manning & Napier Gymnasium (men at 6 p.m., women at 8 p.m.), while the February 10 game will be held at Nazareth College’s Kidera Gymnasium in the Otto Shults Center (men at 2 p.m., women at 4 p.m.).
