JMH Offers Best Wishes to Dr. Zahi Kassas and Monica Acomb, PNP

Dr. Zahi Kassas has announced that he is officially closing his general Pediatrics practice, which has faithfully served the needs of children in the Wellsville area for over 25 years. Jones Memorial will also say goodbye to Monica Acomb, PNP, who has assisted Dr. Kassas for over 25 years at the Bradley Building location in Wellsville, working closely with families, attending to sick visits, and caring for our community.

Jones Memorial Celebrates 10 Years as a UR Medicine Affiliate

In January 2026, as the University of Rochester Medical Center celebrated their 100th anniversary of the schools of medicine and nursing, Jones Memorial Hospital celebrated 10 years as an affiliate of the UR Medicine system. As we move into the new year, JMH and the leadership team are proud and honored to look back on the last ten years of partnership and service to this community.

JMH Welcomes OB/GYN Dr. Krishna Ramavath

Jones Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Krishna Ramavath, MD, MRCOG, FACOG, FICOG to the Jones Memorial Women's & Children's Services. She will begin seeing patients starting in November, primarily at the Hornell location but will have availability in Wellsville as she augments the team there.

Jones Memorial Welcomes New General Surgeon Boru Wang, MD

Jones Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Boru Wang, MD, General Surgeon to the hospital in October. He will join Theodor Kaufman, MD and Colleen Truax, NP in providing comprehensive general surgical care to the patients in Wellsville.
