Providing a full array of laboratory tests

The Joint Commission National Quality Approval SealJones Memorial Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Laboratory Services Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards.



For routine testing and outpatient blood work, the lab is opened Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturday, 7:30 AM to noon. The JMH lab is the sole lab provider for Community Blue in the Wellsvillea rea. Any questions, comments, or concerns regarding laboratory services can be directed to the lab at (585) 596-4072.

An man and woman working together on a complex machine in a laboratory setting.In addition to operating a full service laboratory with on-site testing in clinical chemistry, endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring, hematology, coagulation, immunology, immuno-hematology, bacteriology, cytology, and pathology, the JMH lab also sponsors an anticoagulation clinic for those have been prescribed an anticoagulant like Coumadin. This one-stop anticoagulation therapy management program is available through physician referral by appointment at the Jones Memorial Hospital Laboratory in Wellsville or at the Jones Memorial Medical Practices office in Belmont.
