Meet David Staudt, MD

David Staudt is an academic hospitalist and early career clinician educator at the University of Rochester, where amongst other roles he directs the School of Medicine and Dentistry ultrasound curriculum. His academic interests include using qualitative and mixed methods to explore the contextual features and mechanisms that influence how trainees learn (and faculty teach) bedside ultrasound. He has had work funded through the AAMC Northeast Group on Educational Affairs and is particularly interested in further developing qualitative research skills. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, toddler, and dog; distance running; and learning to become a better gardener (thus far with mixed results).
