1.1 SMD Regulations of the Faculty
The Regulations of the Faculty are policies and regulations that apply to the faculty in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester.
1.2 UR Faculty Handbook
The Faculty Handbook contains policies and regulations that apply to the all faculty at the University of Rochester. Refer to the Regulations of the Faculty for SMD-specific policies and regulations.
1.3 Faculty Roster
The faculty roster is the School of Medicine and Dentistry’s faculty database and system of record for appointments in the school.
1.4 SMD Promotion and Reappointment Manager (PRM)
Materials for initial appointments, reappointments, and promotions of senior faculty should be submitted via the PRM—not used for joint appointments, change of status, or lapsed faculty appointment extension.
1.5 Faculty Senior Associate Program
A program managed by the Provost’s Office that enables tenured faculty to leave the full-time faculty in advance of the normal retirement age.
