myURHR is the University of Rochester’s human resources management system.
2.1 Faculty Transactions in myURHR
- Hire or add new appointments for current faculty (paid, unpaid, joint, and administrative post)
- Rehire
- Promotions
- Change of status
- Retirement
- End job or termination of employment
- Provost/Board of Trustees approval notification required for appointments with those approvals.
2.2 Faculty Transactions Not in myURHR
- SMD faculty reappointments and appointment extensions
- A Faculty Recommendation form and associated required paperwork is required for reappointments and extensions (of primary, joint, honorific, chair appointments). SMD Office of Academic Affairs will update these faculty appointments within Faculty Roster.
