Our Team

SHORE is made up of surgeons, researchers, epidemiologists, and health policy experts who share one conviction: that rigorous science and exciting research can make surgery safer, fairer, and more effective for everyone.

We come from different disciplines on purpose. The questions we ask are too complex for any one field to answer alone so we have built a team that values different perspectives because real answers depend on them.

Meet the people driving that work forward.

Dr. Enumah is an endocrine surgeon with a focus on caring for patients with thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal diseases. Dr. Enumah's primary research interests are in health economics, and he is focused on understanding the intersection between health care delivery, finance, management, and quality. His previous research identified factors associated with hospital financial distress and explored associations between hospital financial performance and quality performance. He aims to investigate opportunities to improve our health care delivery system and contribute to a broader understanding of ways to deliver high value care to patients.
