Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program

Our Mission

The mission of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program is to provide patient centered, interdisciplinary care to persons with Cystic Fibrosis. We adhere to CF Foundation guidelines for care and are a fully accredited adult CF program.

We are committed to quality improvement and aim to engage with the CF community through our CF patient family advisory council to continuously improve. We collaborate closely with our pediatric CF program as part of the University of Rochester’s larger CF center to assure quality clinical care across the programs and to promote successful transition to the adult program as persons with CF grow into adulthood.

We actively participate in quality improvement initiatives nationally as well as research supported by the CF Foundation’s Therapeutic Development Network. We partner with several lung transplant centers in the northeast to assure that persons needing lung transplantation get the best care possible.
