Resources to Quit Smoking

Quitting smoking is possible. Although challenging, many people quit smoking everyday. We can help you create a plan that works for you.

UR Medicine Smoking Cessation Treatment Center

The Smoking Cessation Treatment Center offers an innovative way to help people quit smoking at no cost and with no judgement by providing counseling via text messages. Moreover, medications (e.g., nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges) are provided at no cost and will be mailed to the client’s home. The program is available in English and Spanish.

To speak with a tobacco specialist, call (585) 287-4539 or email quitcenter@urmc.rochester.edu.
